This Christmas, as we celebrate the light of Jesus coming into the world, we remember and give thanks to our friends and benefactors, both past and present, that have helped bring the light and saving Grace of Jesus to others through a legacy of generosity and prayers to Loyola Jesuit Center (LJC). For the past 91 years, LJC has been a refuge for quiet and prayer to become aware of God’s love and dispel the darkness of evil and disordered worldly attachments, a peaceful oasis where people of all ages and cultures and from all walks of life come to find healing, hope and clarity for their lives.
How can I help?
We ask you to prayerfully consider a financial gift. Please take heart in knowing that no donation is too small. As a thank you, each of your intentions will be brought before the Lord at our Masses during the twelve days of Christmas.
How will my donation make a difference?
Loyola must do more to serve a community in dire need of spiritual comfort, and with your help, we will do more:
• Expand services and programs to 7,000+ individuals each year, doubling the number of weekend retreatants
• Complete the necessary outreach to attract more young adults to our programs
• Garner more resources to bolster our Homeless and Recovery retreats
• Continue our Free Will Offering policy, so that no one is ever turned away regardless of financial means (a weekend retreat costs $325, an 8-day retreat costs $595).
