July 26 – August 2, 2020 – VIRTUAL WEEK-LONG SUMMER DIRECTED RETREAT

July 26 @ 6:00pm - August 2 @ 6:00pm

A directed retreat is an individually guided silent prayer experience in which the retreatant follows the dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius while listening for God’s personal word spoken through the Sacred Scriptures. Each retreatant is assigned a Spiritual Director with whom the retreatant meets daily for reflection and spiritual discernment.

Due to the pandemic, for the safety of our retreatants and staff, this retreat will only be offered VIRTUALLY. Retreat will begin at 7:00pm on Day 1 of the retreat and will end after VIRTUAL Mass on the last day, approximately 10am. Please see the tentative schedule below.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a SILENT WEEK-LONG DIRECTED RETREAT. It is only through sacred silence that we can truly hear the voice of God speaking to our hearts. How do we hear God’s voice? The voice of God may be a stirring that we feel during one of the talks, a Word from Scripture, a feeling on a walk outside, etc. (Be open to how God may be speaking to you). So please remember to take some time for sacred silence, wherever you are located, in between meetings with your spiritual director and the other scheduled services on this retreat.

We miss your prayerful presence and long to welcome you back on-site. Let us continue to pray for and with each other.
