As we look back on the year 2020 and take stock of our present situation, can we find something to be thankful for? Can the Gift of Desperation move our hearts to Radical Gratitude? Do we believe that every aspect of our daily lives and of world events, even a pandemic, is “somehow” a blessing from God, a reason for gratitude, an opportunity to become more loving persons? What does gratitude look like in our time and place for the struggling disciple who truly desires to deepen his or her faith life / spirituality?
Come, join us for a weekend retreat for Young Adults (ages 21-35) here at Loyola Jesuit Center in Morristown, New Jersey. There will be presentations for prayerful reflection and prayer. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday and Sunday. A special Way of the Cross will be prayed in the footsteps of St. Joseph as we honor him during this year. As the retreat builds grace upon grace, faith-sharing will take place Saturday evening for those who wish. Let’s ponder our brokenness, the Gift of Desperation, which can lead us to the Grace of Radical Gratitude.
