Annual Loyola Jesuit Center “Evening in the Loyola Prayer Gardens”
Loyola is happy to announce the Ninth annual “Evening in the Loyola Prayer Gardens” fundraiser & major donor appreciation event. This year’s event will be a celebration of the full reopening of the Loyola Jesuit Center as we begin to emerge from the pandemic. This year’s event will help us continue our mission of providing one-of-a-kind retreat experiences and spiritually-enriching programs to the community.
The evening will include cocktails, a spectacular array of culinary offerings, live music by the award-winning Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey under the direction of Maestro Robert W. Butts.
While many Tri-state area retreat centers have closed because of difficult financial times, Loyola has continued to flourish and has provided retreats for thousands of people since opening its doors in 1927. Loyola is currently the only Jesuit retreat center operating in the NJ/NY Metropolitan area.
Your support of this event enables Loyola to provide a refuge, a place of rest and prayer, a place to find guidance and help, healing and direction for thousands upon thousands of people in need. In addition, your support will help Loyola provide retreats for those combating homelessness and addiction and those in recovery and allow Loyola to continue its free will offering policy where no one is ever turned away regardless of financial status.
We pray in thanksgiving to God for allowing Loyola to be so generously supported during these difficult times. Let us pray for the success of this event that will kick-off our Fall retreat season.
