Sunday, December 15, 2019 – YOUNG ADULT AFTERNOON – Letters To A Suffering Church

December 15, 2019 @ 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Young adults ages 18 – 39 are warmly invited to Loyola Jesuit Center for the first meeting of our Young Adult Ministry for 2019-2020.  This group was formed last year to explore contemporary issues of faith and spirituality.  We will meet at Loyola at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 8th, in the upstairs conference room (enter the main doors and go up the main flight of stairs).  The suggested offering is $10.  Soft drinks and snacks will be provided followed by an opening prayer led by Loyola’s Fr. Tom Marciniak. After this opening prayer, Fr. Tom will begin a series of presentations connected to Bishop Robert Barron’s book “Letters to a Suffering Church.” Copies of this book can be provided for those who wish to have one.

After Father Tom’s presentation there will be quiet time for prayer and reflection and you are welcome to go anywhere on the grounds. After a brief closing prayer and discussion of upcoming events at Loyola, we will conclude our meeting but for those who wish, we will go out for dinner together at GK’s Red Dog Tavern, located at 1 Convent Road, Morristown, NJ 07960 (it is connected to The Madison Hotel) at approximately 5:30pm.  Each person will pay for their own dinner.
