Finding God In All Things: Celebrating the Life of St. Ignatius
This retreat is about the life of St Ignatius of Loyola, and how his legacy invites us to see the world with open eyes to be able to discern God’s path for our life, —- just like Ignatius experienced during his pilgrimage in Manresa. He encountered many obstacles in his life, and God walked with him to take him through the path He had for him, even when Ignatius did not understand it. This path was anything but ‘straight and narrow.’ Most of us can probably relate to Ignatius’ experience. How many times do we encounter this type of situation in our life? What have been the unexpected twists and turns in my own life when I have failed to see God’s presence? Ignatius’ life can help us to understand and unbind our fears of what may come up in our future.
