Christian Life Community (CLC)
We all want to belong and to be accepted. The typical Catholic parish is large, so it’s not easy to meet these basic human needs. A Christian Life Community, or CLC, is a way to find those connections via a small group of people who commit to joining together regularly in prayer, support, and service. CLC is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, who discovered a way to holiness that is well suited to a busy modern lifestyle. St. Ignatius teaches that we can find God in all things, and this spirituality can lead to a more fully human way of life.
CHRISTIAN LIFE COMMUNITY:
* is a lay organization.
* is a world community lived out in a local community of 6-10 people.
* has a common way of life based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola.
* has members in all walks of life.
* provides the space for members to respond more fully to God’s loving desires for them.
