LoyolaChildrenOur retreats for children and teens are a way to begin to introduce them to a quiet, listening way of prayer, helping them to deepen their power to hear God’s voice and to begin to sense an awareness that God is present in all things. This is done in a fun way (through song, discussion, prayer, food and activities) in the peaceful, beautiful surroundings of Loyola. It is a chance for them to step out of a “plugged in” world into the peace and serenity of this holy house of prayer; a chance for them to slow down and understand that God has a plan for their lives; and a chance for them to enjoy and sense God’s presence in the beauty of nature, in each other, and in themselves.

If you have a school or youth group that would like to make a retreat at Loyola, please call (973) 539-0740 or email retreathouse@loyola.org to make arrangements. Children/Youth Retreats can be customized for the particular needs of the group and by age level.
