Loyola Jesuit Center partners with the Ignatian Spirituality Project (ISP) in Chicago to provide retreats for men and women from Eva’s Village in Paterson, a non-profit social service organization dedicated to fighting homelessness, addiction and poverty. Blending elements of Ignatian Spirituality and the 12-Step recovery program, the goal of these retreats is to inspire greater knowledge of one’s self and one’s relationship with God as an agent of change within one’s life. By offering a safe space in which to share with one another, retreatants come to see that they are not alone in their struggles. Loyola hosts eight ISP retreats a year for men and women in need as our gift to them.
Loyola Jesuit Center strongly believes in the power of partnerships and collaborative efforts to carry out the work that it does and be able to offer such a diverse variety of retreats and programs for people of all faiths and cultures.
