spiritdirection1Spiritual Direction helps you to integrate faith and life by talking on a regular basis with someone you can trust. This person acts as a guide (sometimes also called a spiritual friend, companion, director) for the journey, helping you to find the presence and call of God in the people and circumstances of your everyday life. Ignatius of Loyola understood the integral role of a Spiritual Director as enabling every person to more profitably experience an Encounter with God. Loyola Jesuit Center honors this commitment. There are approximately ten Spiritual Directors affiliated with Loyola who are extremely competent, professional and trained in Ignatian Spirituality. Our Spiritual Directors are available to talk with you in confidence about your spiritual life. Whether you have daily concerns around family, work, or your relationships, they are here to listen.  If you are experiencing loss, hurt or fears, they are here to help. Spending time with one of our Spiritual Directors while on retreat or on an on-going basis can will help you to gain a deeper awareness of how God is present and active in your life in a personal way. If you are interested in Spiritual Direction call 973-539-0740 or email retreathouse@loyola.org.
